With Mayhem initially announcing their up-coming North American tour (to make up some of the dates from the band’s last botched North American run), LUDICRA were announced as Mayhem’s direct support, and finally getting their first big break within their career, with TOMBS and their label mates KRALLICE rounding up the lineup. Not surprisingly, when all was set, Mayhem decided to unceremoniously cancel their most recent attempt at another North American tour run and have yet to issue any sort of statement. But the show must go on.
Nonetheless, LUDICRA (who have been getting even more attention and support since Mayhem decided to pull the chute on the tour) have decided to still forge ahead and weren’t going to let Mayhem’s actions get in the way of touring in support of their upcoming full-length album “The Tenant” (now for sale exclusively via Profound Lore, officially out March 16th). And along with KRALLICE (who are now going to be playing even more dates than they initially planned with Mayhem, and Tombs will also appear on a couple of dates as well as Profound Lore artists CRUCIFIST and CASTEVET also making an appearance on the odd date of this tour) after crunching away last minute in lieu of this crisis, the De-Cancellation tour will run full force.
The dates for the De-Cancellation tour will go as follows:
03/13 – Scion Rock Fest, Columbus, OH 03/24 - San Francisco, CA @ DNA Lounge (w/Pentagram, Slough Feg, Orchid) 04/01 - Portland, OR @ Berbati's Pan (w/Jonny X and the Groadies, Transient, Dj Nate C)

matter:
“It is with
great regret that DragonForce announce a parting of the ways with singer ZP

rest of the band sincerely wishes ZP great success with his future projects.”
While the
creative core members have begun writing the fifth album, they have also started
a worldwide search for a new vocalist. “We are looking for a powerful, melodic

Legendary Philadelphia extreme metal act, Goreaphobia will join Kult Of Azazel, Bloodfeast and Anal Cunt as one of the headliners of this year's March Metal Massacre Fest in Reading, PA. Featuring over a dozen brutal bands, the show will take place at The Silo Nightclub on March 27th. Visit www.pametalshows.com for details and ticket information. Goreaphobia guitarist Alex Bouks comments on the night of brutality:
"We are excited to kick off the year as one of the headliners of the March Metal Massacre. We look forward to seeing all you metal tyrants there. We're also excited to be sharing the stage with friends Kult of Azazel and the other great bands that will play this year."
At the height of the late 1980s the thrash and death metal underground was headed toward a new and exciting change, when a Philadelphia based extreme, darkened, death metal entity named Goreaphobia was born. Alex Bouks (guitars) and Chris Gamble (bass/vocals) founded the band in the summer of 1988. Alex and Chris had the same interest in extreme underground metal music. The style, sound, and lyrical concepts were influenced by some of the most inspiring, and pioneering bands of our time, bands like Repulsion, Necrovore, Pentagram (Chile), Necrophagia, Possessed, Carnivore, Voivod, Hellhammer/Celtic Frost, and Autopsy; to name just a few.
Norwegian black metal act 1349 have unveiled the cover art for the North American and European special edition of their upcoming album, "DEMONIOR." The album will be released by Indie Recordings throughout Europe on April 26, and by Prosthetic Records in North America on April 27.
For the band's fifth full-length release, 1349 decided to suck out the
fiercest and most potent energies from every single member and
surroundings, channeling it into songs that are pulsating with uncanny
atmospheres, rawness and nerve shattering intensity. The whole process
of getting the material on record was like one long, exhausting black
magic summoning that could not be allowed to go wrong.
"DEMONOIR" is without a shadow of a doubt 1349's darkest, most sinister
and brutal work to date, and in this case it comes to mean that the band
has gone from the utterly extreme to the genre-expanding and
mindboggling. Black Metal cannot, and will never be the same.
"DEMONOIR" will be available in North America as a digipack CD and a
limited edition 12" picture disc LP.
